Colorado Athletics Project is a not for profit organization created to financially assist amateur athletes. Donations are used to provide chiropractic, physical therapy and/or massage to the athletes in need.
Our mission is to provide equal access to affordable, quality care for amateur athletes in need.
What We Do
Colorado Athletics Project offers affordable care for athletes in need. Funds donated to Colorado Athletics Project are used to provide free services including chiropractic, physical therapy or massage. The health care providers specialize in treatment techniques proven to promote recovery in athletes, allowing them to recover faster and continue doing what they do.
Meet the Founder
John Minen DC, CCSP, CES, MS
John Minen, owner of Colorado Sports Chiropractic, created the Colorado Athletics Project to help provide care to athletes in financial need. He is passionate about helping the local community of athletes through his work, volunteering at competitions as well as raising money for trail building and maintenance. Dr. Minen competed in the 2011 US Track & Field Championship in the men's 1500m and qualified in the 2012 US Olympic Trials. He still enjoys running and competing in various race distances as well as cycling, hiking, snowboarding, rock climbing, and throwing the Frisbee with his dog, Linus.
